I Spit on Your Grave adalah sebuah film horor pemerkosaan dan balas dendam Amerika tahun 2010 yang merupakan remake dari film klasik kontroversial tahun 1978 dengan judul yang sama. Film ini disutradarai oleh Steven R. Monroe dan dibintangi oleh Sarah Butler, Chad Lindberg, Franzese Daniel, Rodney Eastman, dan lain-lain. Penulis memang punya banyak cara untuk mencari inspirasi. Ada yang memilih mengasingkan diri di dalam rumah dan tak menemui siapapun atau malah yang lebih ekstrem lagi justru malah memilih pindah ke dalam hutan demi yang namanya inspirasi. Jennifer Hills (Sarah Butler), sebagai penulis muda, juga tak lepas dari ritual yang sudah umum ini. Sayangnya, usahanya mencari inspirasi ini malah mendatangkan peristiwa tragis.

Memutuskan pindah ke daerah terpencil, Jennifer yakin bisa mendapatkan inspirasi untuk novel pertamanya. Setibanya di tempat yang dituju, Jennifer memutuskan untuk belanja terlebih dulu sebelum menuju rumah yang telah ia pilih sebagai tempat menyepi. Saat berada di toko swalayan inilah Jennifer bertemu Matthew (Chad Lindberg), seorang pelayan toko yang memiliki keterbelakangan mental. Di saat yang sama, kedatangan Jennifer juga memancing perhatian tiga orang pria yang biasanya mengganggu Matthew. Awalnya tiga orang ini bermaksud menggoda Jennifer namun saat semuanya sudah tak bisa dikendalikan lagi yang terjadi justru adalah pemerkosaan. Tiga orang ini juga memaksa Matthew ikut memperkosa Jennifer yang tak berdaya. Setelah semuanya berakhir, tiga berandal ini juga memaksa Matthew membunuh Jennifer untuk menghilangkan jejak. Sayangnya Matthew tak punya nyali untuk melakukannya. Matthew membiarkan Jennifer pergi. Pergi dengan dendam membara yang tinggal menunggu saat untuk mencari pembalasan.
