MOVIE: Green Lantern (2011)

Sinopsis:

Dalam alam semesta yang luas dan misterius ini ada sebuah kekuatan kecil tapi kuat yang telah ada sejak berabad-abad lamanya. Green Lantern Corps adalah para pelindung perdamaian dan keadilan, sebuah persaudaraan prajurit yang bersumpah untuk menjaga ketertiban intergalaksi. Setiap Green Lantern akan memakai cincin yang memberikan mereka kekuatan super.Ketika musuh baru yang disebut Parallax mengancam akan merusak keseimbangan alam semesta, Green Lantern harus melawannya bersama manusia karena nasib Bumi terletak di tangan mereka. Dan manusia pertama yang  dipilih adalah Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds).

Hal memang berbakat tapi ia cukup sombong. Dan Green Lantern Corps tidak menaruh hormat terhadap manusia terlebih lagi karena manusia belum pernah memanfaatkan kekuatan tak terbatas dari sebuah cincin seperti mereka. Hal memiliki tekad dan kemauan yang kuat serta memiliki satu hal yang tidak dipunyai anggota Corps lain, yaitu: kemanusiaan. Dengan dorongan semangat dari sesama sesama dan kekasih waktu kecilnya, Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), Hal dengan cepat dapat menguasai kekuatan baru dan menemukan keberanian untuk mengatasi rasa takut. Ia bukan hanya menjadi kunci untuk dapat mengalahkan Parallax, tapi dia juga akan menjadi Green Lantern terbesar dari semua.
