It is a prequel to the events of the original Dead Space game. Though the game is releasing as a part of Dead Space 2 on Playstation 3 but you can also find its standalone demo. Gameplay:
As known, it is a first person rail shooter game which is a prequel to the 2008's critically acclaimed game. Though it is a prequel, it has lot of improvements over the original title. There are new characters, enemies, weapons and environments in this game. The plot begins with a small crew of miners who begins to suffer hallucinations. Among them is a man named Sam Cladwell who is forced to kill many others in a self defense. Later on he himself gets killed by P-sec squad before he could escape from the location. Slowly and steadily this outbreak spread through the whole city and is now becoming a big concern for the authorities. Detective Nathan McNeill along with support from his old friend tries to save the city from this infection. Dead Space Extraction is based on the incidences that Nathan McNeill faces during the whole period.
